At the Jack McGovern Coats' Disease Foundation, our focus is on Coats' patients and research. Our mission is steadfast in raising awareness of Coats' Disease for earlier and proper diagnosis and treatment, raising funds for research into improved treatments and finding a cure, expanding patient resources, and offering all Coats' Disease patients hope and improvements as they wage a lifelong battle against Coats’ Disease and blindness.

In the last year alone, we have expanded current programs and developed new initiatives for patients and families. We have increased our research and education grant funding, raised awareness among pediatricians to foster early and accurate diagnoses, and served hundreds of members of the Coats' community as they journey through the difficulties of a Coats' Disease diagnosis.

Since 2006, the Jack McGovern Coats' Disease Foundation has made it our ultimate goal to find a cure for Coats' Disease. Funding research is THE critical element in making this goal a success. That is why we are proud to announce that over the next year, we are committed to funding $75,000 in research and education grants.
