This year we decided to help the coats disease foundation by participating in a cure coats 5K!
For those who know, my son Kaydn was diagnosed with coats disease when he was 7 months old. Unfortunately, for him the disease was already too far progressed and we had to have his right eye removed to stop the disease progression.
Kaydn is now 5 years old, he's the definition of strong. He loves life, he's just like any other 5 year old boy! Having just one eye hasn't slowed him down one bit! He's proud to show it off, and tell his story to those who are curious.
