Notes for Coats': A Benefit for the Jack McGovern Coats' Disease Foundation

Some of Nashville’s most exciting and talented songwriters will take the stage on October 23, 2023 in Nashville, TN for a great night of music! Notes for Coats’ will take place at The Late Great Speakeasy inside the Virgin Hotel. Proceeds from this event will support the Jack McGovern Coats' Disease Foundation, which raises awareness and funds for research to improve treatments and ultimately to find a CURE for Coats’ Disease. In addition to performing some of their hit songs, the writers will share stories and anecdotes about what inspires their writing. Doors open at 6:00pm and songwriter’s round begins at 7pm. With this incredible lineup you're sure to have an unforgettable evening! In addition to the songwriters evening, we will have both a live and silent auction! THIS EVENT IS 21+

Currently, there is no cure for Coats' Disease. Together, we can change that.

What will your donation accomplish?

• Donating a the $1,000 level will enable us to provide one education grant to young doctors and researchers. Education Grants support travel and registration to in-person conferences or registration fees to attend virtual conferences. By sponsoring new professionals to attend retina meetings, we hope to raise awareness about the Jack McGovern Coats’ Disease Foundation and to encourage research into this disease.
  
  
• Donating at the $750 level covers the cost to analyze one Coats' patient's DNA for genetic research to identify a gene that causes Coats' Disease.
  
  
• Donating at the $500 level will help with costs to collect samples from each Coats' patient to be used for DNA testing.
  
  
• Donating at the $250 level moves us closer to a cure.
  
  
• Donating at the $100 level contributes to the Foundation's overall efforts.
