Becoming a Coats' Crusader signifies stepping into a role of advocacy and support for patients battling Coats' Disease.
It begins with you!
As a Coats' Crusader, your generosity during this season of giving will directly help Coats’ patients. The Jack McGovern Coats’ Disease Foundation is the ONLY non-profit organization dedicated solely to Coats’ Disease. Your support will help us continue to expand resources to Coats’ patients and families, fund more research into improved treatments and a cure, and help us raise awareness around the world to enable earlier and accurate diagnoses, which is crucial to saving a Coats’ patient’s vision.
What does your gift do?
Your support will improve and expand resources such as the Mentor Program, Doctor Directory, and Volunteer Network, and will foster a sense of connection among the Coats’ community.
Your support will fund crucial research, including supporting Education Grants and Research Grants. In 2023, we funded $85,000 towards Coats’ Disease research and have partnered with Duke University, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Macula Society, and Cleveland Clinic.
Your support willincrease awareness of Coats’ Diseasethrough activities such as School and Medical Professional Outreach and Foundation events around the country and will help us continue to serve as the preeminent resource for the Coats’ community.
Become a Coats’ Crusader today! Becoming a Coats' Crusader involves not just empathy but also action, aiming to enhance the lives of those affected by Coats’ Disease and their lifelong battle against vision loss.
