We are participating in the 2026 Cure Coats' 5K - and you can help!
As most of you know, our sweet Harlan was diagnosed with Coats’ Disease at just 7 months old. What started as a moment of fear and heartbreak quickly led us to an incredible community of support through the Jack McGovern Coats’ Disease Foundation.
Since then, Harlan has undergone three surgeries and continues to show us what true strength looks like. She is courageous, spunky, and full of joy—lighting up every room she enters.
Her eye is mostly stable for now, but we won’t fully understand her vision until she’s older. In the meantime, we are so grateful for the care, research, and support that organizations like this foundation provide to families like ours.
We plan to participate as a family in the 5k in GuntersvilIe, AL on June 20th around 9:30am on the Guntersville path. If anyone local to Alabama would like to join us please reach out!
